Pingback: snatching ccasional glipses of other ways to live ~ events alternative in th South Touraine | Social history in the Touraine ~ Central France
We went to the set… four superb acts and a very ‘punny’ frenchman who unfortunately didn’t appear on the bill… although he was part of the show as he appeared on-stage for the curtain call.
We have kept the review in the NP Dimanche edition so that we have a permanant reminder of the acts we saw.
We’ve already found the Crisobal Pazmino website and on-line shop… so will be getting a couple of their CDs.
The most interesting were the Velvet Brigands… superb timing and even with my limited French I kept up with the songs and interplay.
I am very glad that they were sold out for all three sessions… and were able to pack in many more than could sit in our session…. fire regs? Wot fire regs??!
Hi Tim ~ So glad you made the event – unfortunatly Sandra and I have been in the UK working for the past 2-3 weeks so we could not make it. The quality of the music and performers sounds terrific ~ the atmosphere also must have been terrific with sell out houses throughout the weekend.

What a cracking little theatre – never knew it was even there! It was well worth the trip. Love the blog too.

Hi Kath and Roger ~ so glad you discovered the little gem of a theatre in Ferrier Larcon ~ the village has quite an actively engaged community who want to/keep the village alive.
I’m sure Patrice and Co will have appreciated your support.
We’ll be there for at least an event, hope to see you there. Love Colin
