Annual Fête du Pain, Cussay in the Touraine Region of France

Last month Sandra and I visited the Fête du pain and broccante at our nearby village of Cussay in the Touraine. The enthusiastic bakers at the communal bread oven were going full blast and attracting numerous visitors.

It was a great day, plenty of sunshine, wine, beer and………I was a little worse for wear by the end of the afternoon!

There was too much to do that weekend… everything seems to clump together! I see that they’ve rebuilt the front end of the “four au pain” building after it caught fire last year

Wow! I could spend a whole day here Jim! Whether or not I would be capable of anything else afterwards is another matter!
