Bar Jackie ~ L’Union Bar Restaurant at Paulmy, Touraine closes

It’s the end of an era ~ Jackie Pineau who, for the past 27 years, has successfully run L’Union Bar at Paulmy in the South Touraine, retired on the 30th June 2011 and the bar is currently closed.

Below are images, probably far too many!, of the fun, frolics and folks from the last two Saturday nights the bar was open. But not all is lost.  A little bird told me that there’s a possibility of new owners taking over in the near future. Fingers crossed, eh?
