Gardening in post-war France


A couple of years ago Sandra and I and a group of friends visited the annual International Garden Festival at the Loire Valley château at Chaumont.

In the stables of the château there was a terrific exhibition of large black & white photographs showing allotment holders across post-war France. I took the opportunity of photographing the photographs and reproduce some of them below.
