I am an American living in Tours, and I love reading this blog. I studied human geography at the University of Texas, so it is particularly interesting to me. I learned about the Musee de la Prehistoire du Grand-Pressigny on your blog, and I would love to visit it, but I don’t have a car. I don’t think there is a train station there either, so do you know how I could possibly get there?
Hi Danielle – great to hear from you and thanks for following my blog (have you subscribed? It’d be great if you did). Have you been in Tours/France for long?
Without a car the best way yo get to Le G-P is by bus. The Fil Vert is your best bet – they run buses from outside the main railway station in Tours. Justvisit http://www.tourainefilvert.com/
If you let us know when you’re coming over we might be able to meet you at the museum and give you a quick tour of the area.
Let me know how you get on.
