South Touraine ~ local events Spring 2011

Here are three events for you to visit & enjoy this Spring in the Touraine du Sud:

Firstly – Blues and Blues-Rock nights at L’Union Bar & Restaurant in Paulmy. The bar is open until 1am and you can reserve a table for your evening meal if you wish. A great night’s guaranteed.

What's on at the Union Bar, Paulmy

Secondly – Again at Paulmy, this Sunday there will be a Brocante on May 1st. Yours truly and Sandra will be having a stall – come along and see what we’re selling…there’s a free drink for anyone mentioning this blog post!!

Finally, at the Petit Théâtre in Abilly (near Descartes) two films on the experiences of the Region during the Second World War ~ 29th April. It should be of great interest, especially as, when France was divided, the demarcation line ran through the South Touraine dividing family from family and friend from friend. I hope to see you there. PS: entry is free.
