World’s art museums have gone all virtual ~ well 17 of them anyway

The world’s most famous art museums have collaborated to present their collections and gallaries on-line.

So, can’t afford it or have not got the time to get to Versailles? see Van Gogh in Amsterdam? or visit Moma and the other 14 western museums then just click here for ‘street view’ visits allowing you to wander through galleries and view high def images, with terrific zoom , of world-class paintings.

Let’s hope the initiative spreads to link there mueums and art galleries with ones in different parts of the world.
