“NOT more werewolves!” No, hear the wolves of the Touraine!

Further to my blogs on local werewolves, Susan, at Days on the Claise, has just posted a terrific blog on the history of wolves in the Touraine ~ and her descriptions of wolves devouring children is a real howl! (Sorry, couldn’t resist that one, Jim)

The comments on her blog are also of interest especially references to the re-introduction of wolves into the wild. I know re-introduction is currently happening in Scotland. It’s environmental initiatives such as these that produce very fierce, immediate gut re-actions within people ~ re-actions which come from deep inside us and are a direct link to our origins as cave-dwelling inhabitants with strong, and necessary, ‘flight or fight’ instincts to either escape or take on “the beast”.

Anyway, enough of me, enjoy Susan’s blog, or, learn even more on wolves in France at her other blog site ~ just click here.
